The goal of a Backgammon game is to move your checkers around the game board and pull them off the board faster than your opponent who works just as hard to do the same buthowever they move in the opposing direction. Winning a round in Backgammon needsrequires both strategy and fortune. Just how far you can shift your pieces is left to the numbers from tossing the dice, and how you move your pieces are decided on by your overall playing tactics. Enthusiasts use differing techniques in the different stages of a game depending on your positions and opponent’s.
The Running Game Technique
The goal of the Running Game technique is to entice all your pieces into your home board and get them off as fast as you can. This technique focuses on the pace of advancing your chips with absolutely no efforts to hit or barricade your opponent’s pieces. The ideal time to use this strategy is when you think you might be able to shift your own pieces a lot faster than your opposition does: when 1) you have less checkers on the game board; 2) all your pieces have past your opponent’s checkers; or 3) the opposing player doesn’t use the hitting or blocking plan.
The Blocking Game Technique
The primary aim of the blocking plan, by the title, is to block your opponent’s pieces, temporarily, while not worrying about shifting your checkers quickly. After you’ve established the blockade for the competitor’s movement with a couple of pieces, you can shift your other chips swiftly off the board. You really should also have a clear strategy when to back off and move the chips that you used for blocking. The game gets intriguing when your competitor uses the same blocking technique.
