The goal of a Backgammon match is to move your chips around the Backgammon board and pull those pieces off the game board quicker than your challenger who works just as hard to do the same buthowever they move in the opposite direction. How far you can shift your checkers is left to the numbers from rolling the dice, and how you shift your pieces are decided on by your overall gambling techniques. Enthusiasts use a few techniques in the different stages of a game depending on your positions and opponent’s.
The Running Game Plan
The goal of the Running Game strategy is to lure all your chips into your inside board and bear them off as quick as you can. This technique concentrates on the speed of moving your pieces with absolutely no efforts to hit or block your opponent’s checkers. The best time to employ this strategy is when you believe you might be able to move your own chips quicker than the opposing player does: when 1) you have a fewer pieces on the board; 2) all your pieces have moved beyond your competitor’s chips; or 3) the opponent doesn’t use the hitting or blocking plan.
The Blocking Game Tactic
The main aim of the blocking plan, by its name, is to stop the competitor’s pieces, temporarily, while not worrying about shifting your pieces rapidly. Once you have established the barrier for the opponent’s movement with a few pieces, you can move your other checkers rapidly from the game board. You will need to also have an apparent plan when to withdraw and move the checkers that you utilized for the blockade. The game gets interesting when the opponent utilizes the same blocking technique.
